Terms of Service

Effective date: August 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of artifactsummit.com, app.artifactsummit.com, and related registration services (collectively, the “Summit Services”), as well as your registration for and attendance at Artifact Summit and related programs (the “Event”). The Event is produced by Artifact LLC (“Artifact,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Summit Services, registering for the Event, or attending the Event, you agree to these Terms. If you register or purchase on behalf of an organization or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and that you have provided the attendee with the terms that apply to attendance.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Artifact Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated. We may reject or cancel a registration reasonably believed to be fraudulent, unauthorized, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to register for yourself. An attendee under 18 must have authorization from a parent, legal guardian, school, or other responsible organization and must comply with any supervision, consent, or release requirements we provide. Some sessions or activities may be restricted by age.

Event credentials are personal, revocable, and may not be resold, duplicated, or transferred except through a transfer process we expressly approve.

2. Tickets, Prices, and Payment

Prices, included benefits, taxes, fees, and ticket availability are shown during registration. Registration and ticketing are provided through Ticket Tailor, and payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize Artifact and its payment providers to charge the payment method you submit for the displayed total. Your use of Ticket Tailor or Stripe may also be subject to their separate terms and privacy notices.

Discount codes, scholarships, and promotional offers may have additional eligibility rules and may be changed or withdrawn before a registration is completed. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined or redeemed for cash.

3. Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

Attendee cancellations. You may cancel your ticket and receive a full refund of the amount paid for the ticket, including disclosed fees, by submitting a request to support@artifactsummit.com no later than 30 days before the Event.

Transfers. You may request one attendee-name transfer until 7 days before the Event. The replacement attendee must meet any applicable eligibility requirements. After that deadline, tickets may not be transferred except as Artifact approves in writing or as required by law.

After the 30-day cancellation deadline, tickets are nonrefundable for cancellation, nonattendance, travel problems, illness, a change of plans, or similar personal circumstances.

Event cancellation. If Artifact cancels the Event, Artifact will refund the full amount paid for the ticket, including disclosed fees.

Material postponement, date change, or location change. If the Event is materially postponed, the date is materially changed, or the Event is moved to a materially different location, your ticket will carry forward to the revised Event. Artifact will offer a 14-calendar-day refund window, beginning on the date notice of the change is sent. If you do not request a refund during that window, your ticket will apply to the revised Event.

Speakers, sessions, schedule, and programming may change and do not, by themselves, create a right to a refund.

Artifact does not reimburse travel, lodging, lost work, or other incidental expenses.

Sponsorships, exhibitor packages, and group purchases may be governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement controls for that purchase.

4. Event Changes

Speakers, sessions, venue, schedule, format, capacity, and other Event details may change. Announced speakers and topics are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes through the Summit Services or the contact information associated with your registration.

5. Community and Safety Rules

Artifact Summit is intended to support professional, respectful, and constructive exchange. You must not:

  • harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, or intimidate another person;
  • engage in unsafe, disruptive, deceptive, illegal, or abusive conduct;
  • bring a weapon or prohibited item into the venue;
  • interfere with sessions, venue operations, access controls, or another attendee’s participation;
  • record a private conversation without consent or disregard a speaker’s no-recording instruction;
  • misuse attendee information, credentials, or Summit systems; or
  • promote or sell products or services in unauthorized areas.

You must follow reasonable instructions from Artifact, venue personnel, and security, as well as applicable venue rules and health or safety requirements disclosed for the Event.

We may deny entry, remove a person, disable credentials, or cancel participation when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Event or its participants or address a violation. When permitted by law, removal for a violation is without refund. Report concerns to Event staff or support@artifactsummit.com.

6. Accessibility and Accommodations

We want the Event to be accessible. Please send accommodation requests to support@artifactsummit.com as early as reasonably possible. We will review requests in good faith and provide reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law.

7. Photography, Audio, and Video

The Event may be photographed, live streamed, or recorded. By entering areas where recording is taking place, you acknowledge that your name, image, likeness, voice, statements, or appearance may be captured in Event media.

To the extent permitted by law, you grant Artifact and its contractors a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to record, reproduce, edit, display, distribute, and use that Event media for documentation, editorial, educational, and promotional purposes in any medium, without additional approval or compensation. This license does not permit materially misleading use of your likeness or imply a personal endorsement you did not make.

We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of recording. If you have a concern, contact Event staff. Because the Event may involve crowds or live capture, we cannot guarantee exclusion from every wide-angle or background image.

You may take limited photographs or short recordings for personal, noncommercial use unless a speaker, posted notice, or Artifact representative says otherwise. You may not use recording equipment in a disruptive way, record confidential or restricted material, or commercially exploit Event content without written permission.

8. Event Content and Intellectual Property

The Summit Services and Event content—including branding, graphics, recordings, presentations, and written materials—are owned by Artifact, speakers, sponsors, or other licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Artifact grants you a limited, revocable, nontransferable right to access the Summit Services and use materials made available to attendees for your personal or internal business use.

Except as allowed by law or written permission, you may not copy, republish, sell, distribute, create derivative works from, or use Event content to train an artificial-intelligence model or build a competing content product. Speakers retain ownership of their presentation materials unless otherwise agreed.

If you submit a question, comment, survey response, testimonial, or other content, you retain ownership of it. You grant Artifact a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate, evaluate, document, and improve the Event and Summit Services. We will seek separate permission before attributing a promotional testimonial to you by name, unless you submitted it with clear notice that it would be published.

9. Third-Party Services, Speakers, and Sponsors

The Event and Summit Services may include third-party speakers, sponsors, vendors, links, offers, or services. Their views and conduct are their own. Artifact does not endorse or guarantee third-party statements, products, services, or outcomes merely because they appear at the Event. Your dealings with a third party are between you and that party.

10. No Professional Advice or Guaranteed Outcomes

Event content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not legal, financial, medical, cybersecurity, employment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating information and obtaining professional advice appropriate to your circumstances. Artifact does not guarantee any particular business result, connection, investment, or opportunity from participation.

11. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SUMMIT SERVICES, EVENT, AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ARTIFACT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ARTIFACT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SUMMIT SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARTIFACT AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SUMMIT SERVICES OR EVENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A REGISTRATION, THE SUMMIT SERVICES, OR THE EVENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ARTIFACT FOR THE REGISTRATION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artifact and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your unlawful conduct, your material violation of these Terms, or content you submit that infringes another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Artifact’s own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Summit Services, or the Event must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alachua County, Florida, and each party consents to their jurisdiction and venue.

Before filing a claim, you and Artifact agree to make a good-faith effort for at least 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. Send a notice describing the dispute and requested resolution to legal@weareartifact.com or 13500 Progress Blvd, Suite 406, Alachua, FL 32615.

This paragraph does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or filing in small-claims court where eligible.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. The version in effect when you complete a paid registration will govern that purchase, except that later changes may apply when required by law or reasonably necessary for safety or Event operations. We will provide notice of material changes when required.

16. General Terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable purchase terms or signed agreement, are the entire agreement concerning their subject matter.
